Vennio by The Boat OÜ
Vennio is an AI-powered thought partner built by The Boat OÜ (Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Harju Maakond, Estonia; EU). It helps you explore decisions and complex topics by surfacing competing tension forces through voice and text conversation. Your conversations are processed by AI models to identify patterns and structure your thinking.
Vennio is currently invite-only. Access is granted at our discretion. We plan to open registration more broadly in future; these terms apply regardless of how access is obtained. You may not share your account credentials or transfer access to anyone else. If you want to collaborate with someone, use the in-app invite feature - it creates a proper access record and notifies us for approval. Once you have an account, you can self-service upgrade to a paid plan (Plus or Pro) through Stripe.
Vennio offers three plan tiers: Free, Plus ($15/month), and Pro ($79/month). Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise The Boat OÜ to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Stripe billing portal or by emailing support@theboat.dev. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period; you will not be charged for the following period.
Refunds: We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, access continues until the period ends. We may issue refunds at our discretion in cases of billing error.
Plan limits: Each tier has daily limits on AI spend, voice minutes, web searches, deep research, write-ups, and file uploads, and a cap on the total number of topics. Current limits are shown on the Plans page. We may adjust limits with at least 14 days' notice.
Downgrade: If you downgrade to a lower tier, limits are reduced at the start of your next billing cycle. Existing topics above the new tier's topic cap are not deleted, but you will be unable to create additional topics until you are within the new limit.
Price changes: Subscription prices may change in the future. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase. If you are an active subscriber when a price increase takes effect, your existing rate will be honoured for 12 months from the date of the change — your subscription will not increase until that period ends. After the 12-month grace period, the new price applies at your next renewal. Continued use after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated price.
Payment processing: Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. Your payment card details are entered directly on Stripe's servers and are never stored by The Boat OÜ. Stripe's privacy policy and terms govern all payment transactions.
By using Vennio, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
Do not send content through Vennio that you are not permitted to share with AI providers.
You own the content you create in Vennio. By using the service, you grant The Boat OÜ a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to discuss or share any content you bring into Vennio - including content about other people.
Vennio lets you share topics with specific people you invite by email. When you share:
Removing a member from a topic revokes their access to future updates but does not retroactively delete data they have already contributed.
You agree not to:
Vennio is an early-stage product in active development. We do not guarantee any specific uptime. Features may change, be removed, or behave differently as we iterate. We will do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Boat OÜ's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Vennio is limited to the greater of €100 or the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or indirect or consequential damages of any kind.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may stop using Vennio at any time and request deletion of your data by emailing support@theboat.dev. If you are on a paid plan and your account is terminated for cause, your Stripe subscription will be cancelled immediately and fees already charged for the current billing period are non-refundable unless termination was due to our error.
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and, where applicable, the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Estonia.
We will notify you by email before making material changes to these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
